The “Community Garden Club of Camas Washougal” is pleased to announce that Diana Hogg, Master Gardener, will be speaking to us on Feb 23, 2022 on the topic of “Houseplants – General Care and Propagation”.
The club meeting begins at 1pm, Feb 23, with a few formalities followed by Diana’s presentation, around 1:30pm.
Diana lives in Camas, WA and graduated with the WSU Master Gardener class of 2020. She is a member of their “presenter’s team” and the newly organized “houseplant team”.
Diana is a lifelong vegetable gardener who starts her seeds at home each March. In addition, she raises perennial flowers, annuals, herbs, does container gardening and has many varieties of houseplants. She is a Home School Gardening Teacher at the Firstenberg Community Center, this upcoming spring semester. She is also a member of both the Portland Dahlia Society and the Clark County Master Gardener Foundation. She belongs to the Camas Community Garden where she grows many varieties of vegetables and flowers used for fresh cut garden bouquets.
Diana has grown gardens in many states with different growing zones: Michigan(5b), Georgia(8a), Maine (5b &4a), Utah (5b) and Washington(8b). She also has a gardening consulting business, Vida Verde Gardens!
Our meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings, times and locations are subject to change. Unless otherwise noted, meetings generally begin at 1pm and speakers begin at 1:30pm at the “old” Camas Community Center, 1718 SE 7th Ave., Camas, WA 98607.
