Please join us Feb 26th when the entertaining Joan Veach will speak to us about “Vegetables A-Z” at the “Community Garden Club of Camas Washougal” general meeting.
“Before I took the Master Gardener class,” says Joan, “my efforts at vegetable gardening were often very disappointing. [Now] we grow a large percentage of the vegetables we eat in the late spring, summer and fall.”
Joan completed her Master Gardener training in 2007 and went on to become a Master Composter/Recyler (MCR) in 2008.
“I have always enjoyed playing in the dirt and watching things grow” she says. “I am not a gardening expert, but, I do consider myself to be a lifetime learner.”
Club general meetings run from 1pm-3pm. Joan will speak from 1:30pm-2:15pm.
All speaker presentations are free and open to the public. You do not need to be a club member to attend speaker presentations. But, if you wish to join, membership is $12/yr.
Meetings take place in the Ballroom, Camas Community Center, 1718 SE 7th Ave., Camas, WA 98607.
