Julie Surface, head of customer service and displays at Hidden Gardens Nursery & Landscaping, located atop Prune Hill in Camas will be our featured Guest Speaker at the CWCGC meeting on Oct. 24, beginning at 1:30pm.

In her talk, Julie will highlight succulents, talking about what makes a succulent a succulent, different varietals, and will explain how best to maintain attractive and healthy plants. Find out why the key to healthy succulent plants is proper soil mix, watering, fertilizing, exposure, pest and disease control, and maintenance. After her talk she will be happy to answer your questions about using proper soils, watering, fertilizing, light exposure, pests, disease and maintenance.

Our speakers’ presentations are free and open to the public.  (But, you are welcome to become a member if you wish!)

The Community Garden Club of Camas Washougal will meet from 1-3pm, on October 24 at Camas Community Center, 1718 SE 7th Ave., Camas WA 98607.  After refreshments starting around 1pm, Ms. Surface’s presentation will begin at 1:30pm, followed by the club’s business meeting.
