Wreath Making Event – what fun!

The Community Garden Club of Camas Washougal held its annual wreath making event last week (for members) to create their own wreaths.  So much fun and members helped each other create some lovely wreaths they took home or gave to others.

Many thanks go to the team who gathered the materials, brought the club’s large “wreath clamping tool” to/from the Boy Scout Hut, organized the participants, and the local tree nursery that donated the boughs for the wreaths!

Members brought snacks, music and themselves and worked together to clamp the green bundles onto the wire frames.  With the additional ribbons, cones and other materials members brought, each wreath was then individually decorated. (One of our talented members made bows from ribbons for other members, too!)

Happy holidays and we wish you a lovely New Year, too!

Our next general club meeting will be January 24, 1pm, 2018 at the Old Camas Community Center.
