Jennifer Bargar, owner of Nature’s Haven Nursery, will speak to us about “Supporting Butterflies & their Caterpillars” at our September 24, 2025 meeting at 1:00 pm.

Meet some of our Northwest butterfly species and what native plants best support them and their caterpillars.

Since caterpillars are an essential food source for many birds, native gardeners should consider the plants they eat equally essential.

Whether you’re growing a butterfly garden or want to attract more birds to your yard, don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to make your property a key component of the food web!

The club meeting runs from 1-3pm. Speakers’ presentations generally start a bit after 1pm; the club’s meeting follows.

The public is welcome to attend any of the club’s General Meetings and speaker presentations for free.  Anyone may join the club with full membership privileges for $12/year.
