May 28 is our last meeting of the season (we return August 27) where we get together to celebrate a successful Plant Sale (as always), successful year, and building wonderful friendships. We now have about 100 members.
THERE IS NO SPEAKER at this meeting. But, the club’s usual discussions, presentations and such will be occurring.
The program is a potluck. Please bring a dish to share with others—something you’d take to a garden party. We encourage you to bring your own place setting, but we do have paper plates and plastic utensils.
We start at 12:30 pm and end at 3:00. It’s at our usual meeting place, Camas Community Center, 1718 SE 7th Avenue.
While this is a celebration for the members, if you are interested in joining the club, feel free to come to this “party” and decide if you wish to join. ($12 per year, fiscal year runs from August 1 to July 31, the following year.)
The club DOES have summer activities during June and July, but, they mostly revolve around visits to each other’s gardens and some field trips to other fun “gardening” locations. (YOU DO need to be a member to be included in these activities.)
