SW Washington, USA area now has 6 FREE SEED LIBRARIES:
5 FVRL library branches and the Longview Library has one, as well!
You may both DONATE and TAKE HOME seeds from these libraries!
Remember, some seeds should be sown in fall – especially some flowers – it is “nature’s way” for the seed heads to form during summer, then mature and the seeds fall off onto the ground to begin the next cycle!
If you have extra seeds, you can donate back INTO the libraries, too!
Thank you to all the libraries for hosting the seed libraries, too! The Master Gardeners of Clark County and other volunteers for “stocking” the FVRL branches. The Longview library allows patrons to check out online or in person and has many other seed related activities. Check out both the below links to learn more!
If you don’t spot the seeds right away please do ask a librarian where they are and how to “check” them out.
