Chances are that your backyard is home to a wide variety of wild bees. Join WSU Master Gardener Anne Bulger for an introductory presentation on Mason Bees to discover how you can host these highly beneficial and non-stinging native bees. The presentation will cover pollination, how to be a successful Mason Bee host, their life cycle, and yearly timetable. One participant will go home with a mason bee house and some accessories.
Anne Bulger’s love of gardening began in her Chicago childhood backyard with her Polish father as a model for pollination, composting, and recycling. She has hosted both Mason bees and Honeybees in both Washington State (and the state of Maine) since she joined the Clark County Beekeepers Association
Our meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings, times and locations are subject to change.
