Native Plant Appreciation Month & so many Plant Sales in Clark County!

The Clark Conservation District (of Clark County, WA) reminds us…

“It’s Native Plant Appreciation Month! This year’s theme is ‘planting for tomorrow’ – and you can start today at one of the many, many native plant sales happening this spring.  Here are just SOME of the opportunities available to you.”
Note, some sales include natives and/or non-native plants.


… plant sales include:   Columbia River, Ft. Vancouver, Hudson’s Bay and Vancouver Flex.  All their plant sale lists and info may be found here  

 April 25-28th Hudson’s Bay High School. 7 to 7 Tues-Thurs, 7-5 Friday Plants available in the two Greenhouses/area closest to Reserve Street. Cash/Check accepted.
April 26-28th Fort Vancouver High School, Wednesday 7am-6pm, Thursday 27: 7am-5pm, Friday 28: 7am-4pm.
April 29th Columbia River HS, Saturday, 9 AM to 3 PM in the Greenhouse. (Turn into the school at the light.) Plants available: Yarrow, self heal, blue globe gilia, and big leaf lupine. *Cash or Check only.

May 6th, Vancouver Flex Academy (2901 General Anderson Ave.), 10am-3pm.  *cash only. Natives available: Large-leaved lupine, Pacific ninebark, Douglas spirea. Veggies, Herbs, Perennials, Succulents, Houseplants, and Hanging Baskets also available.


April 29th & 30th.  Naturescaping Wildlife Botanical Gardens (see below for more info) & the CASEE Center, greenhouses at 11000 NE 149th Street, Brush Prairie. 9-12 for members, 12-4 general public. See flyer below.  (Must pre-register shopping time through
May 6th, Battle Ground High School, 8am-3pm, in the greenhouses, 300 W. Main St., Battle Ground.
May 11, 12, 13, 15 & 15, Prairie High School, (various hours), greenhouses, 11311 NE 119th St., Vancouver, WA.

Clark College Native Plant Center

May 4-6th,   Clark College Campus, Greenhouse at 1870 E Reserve St. Thurs/Fri 12-6, Sat 12-4.

Master Gardeners

May 13th,  Master Gardener Foundation of Clark County & WSU Extension Master Gardener Program Mother’s Day Plant Sale. 78th St Heritage Farm, 1919 NE 78th St. Vancouver, WA.
