In case you’re wondering, the Community Garden Club of Camas Washougal is on its summer break until August 24. We’ll have no general club meetings until then.  (We take “off” June, July and December every year.)

Why?  Well, during this time we work in our own gardens, have “field trips” to each other’s gardens, tour public and private gardens, and visit nurseries up and down the I-5 corridor.  Great summer fun!

An example of just a few the places we’ve gone to in the past or will be going to this summer include:  Portland International Rose Test Garden, Xera Plants Garden Center, Farmington Garden’s, Silver Star Vinery, Historic Jenkins Estate, Adelman’s Peony Garden, Sebright Garden, The Oregon Garden, Lan Su Chinese Garden, Portland Yard, Garden and Patio Show, Bauman Farms and Swan Island Dahlias.
