Club member Gayle having success w. Globe Artichokes!

GlobeArtichokes_May2015_325hGayle, one of our club members, is looking forward to having a great summer crop from her surviving Globe Artichoke plant!

Several others died that were planted in less sunny, protected areas of her garden.  😦   So,  Gayle shows with this success story, LOCATION is key to growing these!

This plant obviously likes its location! It is about 3-4 years old and on the sunny southern side of the house, protected from the weather and receives sun most of the day. It does have pretty purple flowers that the Bumble Bees & Honey Bees just love to play in, too! Lovely!
